immaculate grounds pretty sight free shuttle
the grounds were immaculate. i seen staff constantly attending the gardens, a very pretty sight. the room, a trendy duplex suite, was spacious. the free shuttle to the beach was handy.

inadequate air conditioning substandard food
the air conditioning system was not satisfactory. it cut out every time i left the room. it took a considerable amount of time to cool down upon my return, about 15 minutes. the food at the restaurant did not meet my expectations for a supposed five-star hotel, though breakfast was acceptable once the coffee was heated.

some issues with service and room quality
cooked-to-order omelets decent breakfast unreliable staff small selection
the breakfast had a good choice on offer, and omelets and eggs were cooked to order, so that was decent.
The staff was not reliable, as agreed transfers did not always work. I found that pretty irritating. the food in the restaurant was not very tasty sometimes and the selection was rather small. plus, the staff seemed glued to their phones, possibly dealing with personal stuff.

sticky floor loud noise
the breakfast was acceptable, it had a variety of choices that kept me going.
my room was not as clean as i would expect, there was stains on the curtains and the floor felt a little sticky. also, the air conditioner made a very loud noise at night. i could hardly sleep because of the noise.

The shuttle service to the town centre was convenient. I also appreciated the complimentary Vietnamese meal. The breakfast had a good choice of items. Vietnamese coffee was also great..
The wifi was not consistently reliable . The air conditioner only just managed to cool the room. It also cut out every time I left the room. It needed 15 minutes to recool on my return.
