the air conditioning system was not satisfactory. it cut out every time i left the room. it took a considerable amount of time to cool down upon my return, about 15 minutes. the food at the restaurant did not meet my expectations for a supposed five-star hotel, though breakfast was acceptable once the coffee was heated.

the breakfast had a good choice on offer, and omelets and eggs were cooked to order, so that was decent.

The staff was not reliable, as agreed transfers did not always work. I found that pretty irritating. the food in the restaurant was not very tasty sometimes and the selection was rather small. plus, the staff seemed glued to their phones, possibly dealing with personal stuff.

the breakfast was acceptable, it had a variety of choices that kept me going.

my room was not as clean as i would expect, there was stains on the curtains and the floor felt a little sticky. also, the air conditioner made a very loud noise at night. i could hardly sleep because of the noise.

The grounds are very well maintained and serene. The hotel rooms are spacious and private. The spa massages were very good. Breakfast included a pancake and egg station and provided plenty of variety. The staff are cute and friendly, always willing to help. They assisted with getting a bag couriered to hanoi.

The wifi was not consistently good. The air conditioner cut out when the room was unoccupied. It took fifteen minutes to recool the room upon return.
